Joseph's extensive work credits include: Little Moe in Five Guys Named Moe (London/Australia), Puck in Shakespeare's  A Midsummer Night's Dream, the Ghost of Christmas Present in Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol ( both at Liverpool Playhouse). Also Miss Saigon, Crazy For You, Kiss of the Spiderwoman, and original cast of Mamma Mia (all in London's West End); also national tours of The Mystery Plays playing Jesus, and soul show Soul Train, working with Sheila Ferguson of the soul diva group Three Degrees, and also various one off vocal appearances in gigs and shows incl. Cafe de Paris, London (2003-2004).

He played Maugrim in The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe for the Royal Shakespeare Company, Jimmy in Grand Hotel (Donmar Warehouse, London) where he worked with Hollywood actress Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, and in 2002/3 he left for the UK, USA and Far East tours of the hit show Riverdance as the vocal soloist ("Heal Their Hearts"). In June 2006 Joseph worked with US director Francesca Zambello appearing in Show Boat at the Royal Albert Hall, London (the first fully staged musical to be performed there).
